Afristar Corporate team at the Beyond Zero Marathon 2020
Afristar staff joined over 20,000 participants at Nyayo Stadium during the fifth edition of the Beyond Zero Half Marathon on 8th March 2020. The event was led by The First Lady, Her Excellency Margaret Kenyatta who is the founder and patron.
Participants run for selected causes such as; zero maternal deaths, zero child death, a healthy lifestyle for the elderly, zero new HIV infections, zero child marriages and accessibility of Children living with disability.
The Beyond Zero Initiative uses the Marathon as its anchor fundraising platform, raising funds and resources to bring to focus key challenges facing Kenyans and build strategic partnerships that will address these challenges.
